I am going for something Italian this week and one of my favourite places is Pete's Place at the Grand Hyatt Singapore.  I like the rustic deco of the restaurant which brings out the true Italian dining experience.

I love the salad bar and the anti-pesto selections.  There is a good variety of breads and you can have a good choice of flavored butters like herb or sundried tomatoes and some selection of flavoured olive oils you can choose to compliment your bread. If you are there for a light lunch, you can order the half buffet which consists of just the salad, soup and dessert options.

I personally like the spaghetti pasta with half lobster.  The braised ox tail stew served with mashed potatoes is so comforting to eat. There is a black-board special menu which changes every 2 to 3 days.  Try their selection of Wood Fire Pizzas if you want something light. As for dessert, the traditional Tiramisu with a good cup of black coffee.
