Set in a little shop house, this restaurant has a homely ambience like walking into an café in Italy and warmly greeted by a waitress who makes your dining experience very comfortable.
If you have time to spare for a good and long lunch, the set lunch here is a steal at $32.00 for “fine dining” standards. This is a great place to treat yourself to a fine authentic Italian treat.
For starters, you should try the Sauteed clams in white wine sauce, garlic and peperoncino chili, the clams are cooked with a tasty sauce and served with croutons.
As for the main course, I would recommend the 5 hours slow cooked beef loin served with potatoes in Tegamino and Amarone wine sauce and for dessert, hot white chocolate cake with fresh orange salad marinated in liquor.
All these were selected from their set lunch menu and if you would like a choice from their ala carte menu, there is a wide selection available.
I must stress that the food is cooked with passion and every dish served, care has been taken to serve their guests. A good place to bring your business clients or just a long lunch during your day off. I heard from the manager that if you are coming in the evening, do make a reservation as they are usually fully booked.
