Canele is situated at the basement of raffles city shopping centre. It is right next to the fountain and the dining experience is incredible.
The crab corn chowder soup is unique as fresh chunks of crabmeat is cooked with the soup and it provides a rich flavour in the soup.
In Canele there is a variety of crepes from mushroom to roasted chicken. The crepe is served open faced like a pizza. There is a good variety of pasta and my friend had the seafood pasta with a tomato-based sauce, the cafe is very generous with their ingredients.
All bread are made at the cafe itself and one of their signature burgers is the Brioche Burger, which has a delicious piece of grilled chicken sandwiched in between seasoned with a special sauce.
If you are mad about coffee desserts, you must try their Caramel Chocolate Dessert made up of sponge cake soaked with expresso with a layer of milk chocolate mousse.
